EVENTS
After we had been open a short time, we realized we wanted to exhibit some of our brewers in a more focused way. Thus were the Blind Tiger’s weekly events born, for which we have become well known in the beer world. Throughout the year, our favorite breweries get a Wednesday night to show off their entire body of work, using as many draught lines as they need. In the past, we have had brewers bring as many as 31 kegs, including twenty-eight draughts, two hand-pumped beers, and a gravity cask. We also do six of our own festivals, pairing the beer and food of a particular region.
Besides our special events, the Blind Tiger has some stand out specials...
Happy Hour is 11:30AM to 8:00PM every week day, with a $1 off draught beer, cask beer, glasses of wine, prosecco and mead. Unfortunately, happy hour does not apply to event beers on event days.
We Cut the Cheese - Every Wednesday at 6:00PM we put out close to 4 pounds of different cheeses from Murray's (along with fresh Bagettes from Amy's bread) for FREE! Thst said, it is first come first serve - so get there early. The cheeses change every week and give you a preview to what will be on our cheese plate for the week. I think all I need to say is free cheese on Wednesdays, but this is a little sexier.

July 21st @ 4:00PM - Christmas in July 2010. Look, the list is just going to be a combination of some of the best holiday brews from all of our dear friends. Think Mikkeller Christmas, Scaldis Noel, Smuttynose Winter, Slyfox Christmas, Sierra Celebration, N'Ice Chouffe, Troegs Mad Elf, Ridgeway Criminally Bad Elf, Kuhnhenn's Winter, and soooo much more. In fact, since some of you have been extra nice, look for a few pre-event treats on Tuesday.
July 28th @ 4:00PM - An evening with 2 Brothers Brewing Company. The word is that they are really going to be breaking out the big guns for this very special night.
August 4th @ 4:00PM - The Harpoon Event. You think you know everything you need to know about this legendary brewery... You're wrong. This is an event that will remind you why Harpoon has grown to be one of the most renowned brewery. This list is made up of over 12 speciality itens (stuff from their 100 Barrel Series and their Leviathan Series - oh, also there will be two beers made special for this event. So, it would be safe to say, this is a very must go to event. Really, these guys have blown me away with their excitement and dedication.
August 11 @ 4:00PM - Avery Returns to the Tiger. Now you've seen a keg and a few bottles here and there...but a whole event? It's been a while. But the wait is going to be worth it.... The list is a 17 right now...and it's getting meaner and bigger!
August 25th @ 4:00PM - The Sierra Nevada/Blind 2010 Extravaganza. Do I need to say more? If I do, then you must have never been to one of these things. Come and be awed...
